Yes there is medication. But the doctors do not give this, if they do not know how frequent these attacks are going to be. It is a question of not giving something that is not suitable, these kind of medication have many undesirable side-effects too!
Reason why I stopped mine against the panic -disorder. I suffer more then before, but in my case not enough to endure the side - effects!

Martin, as I read this tonight I am reminded how things in our lives happen for a reason, sometimes it pulls you out of a place where you were and lends a hand in giving you a new direction to follow...I'm sure things will get worked out and all will be fine...hang in there.

Sorry to hear about the troubles your family is having, tintin! You sure have caught a lot of bad breaks. First all your heart trouble and now this epilepsy for you wife!
It just goes to show you that some of the people on this board with their pissing and flaming, don't know much of anything! Because when we have our health, we ought to be grateful and be happy for it, and not worry so much about whether everyone else agrees with us. Enough trouble in the world without needing to make more. Your attitude is very good, Tintin! Family first! Health is most important! When you and your loved ones have good health, then how much do the other things matter. A little, but not so much. As they say, when you have your health, you have everything. If not everything, then at least 90% of it. Because when you lose your health, then what is left ? I hope that it goes very well for your wife and that she returns to full health. So I think she IS sensitive, and the stake that she will get it back with great fatigue is real. The reason I want to cancel my trip of at least 2 months is Los is simple: I am afraid that she will have an attack when I am gone or traveling alone on the plane with the kids! I don't want her to drive either! To come back at your remark, yes I need the girlies less then 2 years ago, that is true! It is fun to do that, make you feel like life is not finished and feel the adrenaline running when you are going to the bedroom with a beautiful young girl! But how more you do that, less special it gets, certainly if you are in love with the one at home..... So yes maybe that is why it is not bad there would be an end to it. I realise that, but i think if I decided that completely, a part of my life would be gone. It maybe was preferable this happened after next winter, as I would have been a longer time in Los, and had this before to accept my youth is gone. My wife had now 2 attacks, where she did not remember anything BTW. I had 2 heart -surgery in my real youth, been between live and death for several years, to get rewarded by a panicdisorder I am fighting against fierecely against every day (especially without the pills now). Like now, I have two quareling young girls, one screaming boy in the house. This morning I stood up and 7.30. The dogs shitted the kitchen all over, my son all his pyiama, had to go in town toget the grocerys, made breakfast etc. when my wife is here I also do a lot of that. I will have to do all the driving to bring the kids to school any time now. So the other side of the story, although i want the best for my wife and support her the best I can, I will maybe need to have some time off, for myself even more then before! If even having pleasure to support the family, loving my wife, I also need a bit of rewarding sometimes... At the moment everything that count is to relief my wife, but we will see that we have to find a way to keep everybody happy! Well enough of this, thanks to let you spit my heart out here, I don't want this board to turn out in personal drama's, wich are btw not that bad at all! Last edited by tintin : 22-05-2005 at 15:34.

Martin...I wouldn't worry about the board, it will deal with it.
You know very well that whatever you do life goes on, maybe its time to take a break from the girls on the next vacation with the family...could be more fun on your next solo run, in doing the same thing over and over you sometimes end up like the song says "the thrill is gone" . The truth is no one knows what is the next best move, it could be the perfect trip or it could be a disaster, life's a crap shoot...but I say keep throwing the dice, this will pass one way or the other as all things do, it is not a bad thing to change things up. When bad things happen to us unexpectedly, when we are taken by surprise and our plans are upset and our life is thrown into chaos and uncertainty, then, of course, you are going to have much anxiety, many things on your mind, and spend some time worrying and wondering what is the best course to take, and where your future life is going.
But December is far off still, fortunately, and decisions don't have to be made immediately. Any decison that is made need not be final. Perhaps, best to try and take things one day at a time and not think too far ahead. I know that is easy for me to say, since I am not faced with all your troubles. Easier said than done. But just the same, easy or not, I think it best to try to relax, settle down, and focus on the day-to-day chores of which you have no shortage, to appreciate that you still have beautiful children, a lovely wife, and a wonderful home. When trouble strikes, sometimes it is a good time to stop and count your blessings. Think of how much you have, not of what you've lost. Don't worry about the loss of your youth. You are younger than you think! There are so many good days ahead. To see your children grow like the flowers, to bloom into adolescence, and someday adulthood. Treasure them while they are young! They are the most precious gift you ever will have received. One day at a time, my friend. JayBee

The old girl is in the house again.....
Doing quiet well, scanns did not show cancer or other dreadfull things... Tommorow, she is just going for her competion-match in volley as always. I don't like that but we have made a deal! She continues her competition and I do not have to give up Los. If nothing goes wrong, i will leave the 20 th of November, then she will come with the 2 girls 17 th december and I would like the girls to return the 3 th January and we will stay 10 day longer together. She do not like he girls to return home alone, but I think almost 9 and 7, would give them a bit of an experience. 18 hours without mummy and daddy, would not do them any harm, they also have to grow up!

Well the "old lady", doesn't want the kids return home alone.
So I think it is best that I return with them 2 nd January. Much less then originally planned, but hey, 7 weeks los is not bad at all! I will departure the 22 nd November. Family arrives 18 th December and we all go home together. My wifes parents willstay with her while I am gone. But......I will have enough miles, to fly free next time, so it could be that I am returning in March.....
