We sat in amazement watching the Muay Thai on Bangla Road.
We couldn't figure out how they kept blocking all those round-house kicks??
Then we took in another event on Koh Samui and were like "those b*stards on Bangla were acting!!!"
Watching some real Muay Thai is an absolute must see!
Those guys give it their all plus some.

Dont need to go that far.. Sai Nam Yen Boxing ring next to the Bowling has real fights twice weekly.. Of course a lot of the time these are making up the fight card with less than stellar fighters (5 bouts per night etc) but as noted sometimes I get the nod that something worth seeing is on (also going to the ring with the owner tends to being well looked after ) and I have seen some tough fast battles there..
Lumpini in BKK is worth a visit also.. Then again I am a fight fan..
