How many times have you fallen in love with a bar girl and are you prepared to admit to in a public forum? It would seem that most BM's have fallen in love at least once with a BG and it seems that the BM comes off second best

Do you feel that is a fair assessment of what happens??

I've fallen in love with TGs three times, but only one of them was a BG. One was a certified public accountant, the other a supervisor at a big hotel.

Every time I got my heart broke, although the first time it was certainly my own fault, and that was the time I fell for a BG. It was no fault of hers!

I am a lot more careful now. It is not that I would not be open to falling in love again, but a girl has to prove herself to me without a doubt before I would let myself go completely. That certainly doesn't mean that I don't have feelings for a girl, if I spent more than a few days with her. But liking a girl, even a great deal, and giving her your heart is two different things.

But I speak only for myself, and can not speak for others. I have heard the horror stories, but have heard some very heartwarming success stories, as well. For each man, the ladies of LOS are an enigma that he must solve on his own, if that is what he wants, and he is up to the challenge!

I recently returned from my first trip to Thailand and I am not afraid to admit that I got a major crush on a BG now.. We just had a fantastic time and she was such a nice person..

IT happens to alot of travelers.Thing is you want to help them out of a situation.From the west you would think only girls that are addicted or worse,have funny for money.Now you have funny and the next day you connect,it's not hard to feel something.Or what do you all think?Good ladies are everywhere,in los!

Yep, me too, been that soldier. I have no real method for dealing with it, I just go with the flow and then go home. I think being honest with them helps; don't bullshit and start telling them that you love them, just treat them well, smile a lot, spend your money and go home on time.

Good advice, Kiwi. Been there also. Didn't get stung, but only escaped by sheer luck.

Keep up with the emails or phone calls to her, Herman. Usually, they will butter you up for a few weeks with the talk of how much they miss you, how much they care for you, how they have no one to take care of them, etc.

But after about a month, then usually comes the sad story of how they are not making enough money, sick relative, lost job at the bar, don't want to sleep with men anymore, etc.

This is accompanied by a request for financial assistance.

Here is a typical example: "I have to pay for my room in two days but I don't have enough money and please help me. I feel very shy to tell you this but I don't know what can I do really and I know you're very kind person also you I think you can help me. But I will pay you back very soon. And I hope that you will help me."

That is excerpted from a real letter. This is what you can expect. If you don't get these kinds of requests for money, then you may really be onto something with a good girl who is sincere.

A girl I was with in the Philippines for 1 night started off her first e-mail to me asking me for money to buy her a plane ticket from Manila to Hong Kong so that she could go to work in Hong Kong and make more money as it was heading towards the off season in Manila. I catch a lot of hell from those who are "too cool" to have a little purple dragon as a representation, but I'm comfortable enough with myself to not worry about my image too much...

I feld for a Thai girl that was not a BG. I knew something was wrong when i asked her after the Tsunami if i could do something to help her. She asked me for money and although i never heard of Western Union , she knew exactly how it worked. After that many other things that she told me got a whole different meaning to me. So although i am sure there are many good ones ass well, my advise is don't fall in love if your not gonna stay in Thailand the rest of your life.

For the first time when ı was falling love with a BG , it seemed me real.But when i call BG after came back , it had became the real experience.You can guess what bg would say on phone. Whenever i get phuket i know that i will falling love with a bg.Because i predict the final that doesn't hurt me anymore.

That pretty much sums up the way I am feeling these days, as well. Although that doesn't mean that I am giving up hope that someday I will fall in love and that it will be real and lasting!

I met a great TG about 5 years ago - a good egg that's never asked me for a dime to this very day. The only time I used Western Union was to pay some money back I borrowed from her! Ahem (Loser!). I've been back to see her 4 times now, in fact, just saw her in BKK, and it's still "all good".

Anyway, she works for U.S. company in BKK in mid-management, but doesn't make all that much, though she works damn long hours. She's a cool lady, though. When we're together, she pays her way (like at a movie), brings over lunch to "treat me" or pays for a taxi if I don't have "small change". The gal is top notch, really. Hey at least the BGs are humble/honest enough to admit that they have sex for money. A lot of girls who have lost faith in the farang, will get quiet some money out of your pocket if they can!

And then you got nice girls, who appreciate a guy who is nice to them, and would do everything for him. THEY are not the ones who get rewarded!

My favourite bg, Tig, was a girl that really diserved that a nice guy fell in love with her! She keeps writing me, almost a year now, never-ever asked for money. I know that this can sound stupid, but if i was a free man and in love with this girl, I would have no doubt about her feelings and attitude!

And I am very ashamed that when I tried the password thing in another tread, I could only see mails to myself!
