Phuket

I'm possibly looking down the barrel of a redundancy in the next month or so and was thinking of 10 days in Phuket and perhaps 10 days in Vietnam.
Having only been to Phuket the once and had a total ball( Bali 4 times and its not even close to Phuket) I was wondering what the scene is like in Vietnam.
Is the night life as adventurous, or is that a Thai only experience. My cousin suggested the Philippines but I dont think the women are as attractive.
Come on guys, please help me out!
Some of you are very well travelled and could guide a fellow wanderer.
Ive been trying to find a similar chat site for Vietnam and havent found one yet, so was thinking the scene might be as much fun.

I have been to both the Philippines and Vietnam. Loved them loads, with both having great women, beaches and nightlife.

I met many stunning ladies in LOS and wasnt sure whether the Vietnam experience would be as good or as safe.

LOS rocks and it's proven!

Vtn. is okay but be aware of the following;

Prices on menu are Vtn. and Foreigner, including hotels..yup right out there in plain sight rather than hidden so as not to insult you.

You will be hassled relentlessly by vendors who even follow you down the street.

If you take a girl to your room you have to rent another room at the hotel because there are no BG's in Vtn. (just ask the government).

There's god damn garbage everywhere you look and when you swim in the ocean you get out and you're covered with plastic bags.

What's the saying?

If it aint broke, don't fix it!!
