Wetwillies???

G'day lads, hope everyone is well and fine. Just a quick question, have been reading a few threads about Wetwillies, can someone fill me in on it...I haven't been there before, and am wondering when it has come about. Was in Patong early Jan through to Feb...and will be back again in end of June...(hurry up) I understand it is not like a normal bar beer/beer bar, whatever u want to call it...the photo's of the pool party look great!!!! Would I be right in assuming it is something like Valhalla??? Anyway, a rundown on it all would be great,and any planned shindigs in June/July? Cheers again and hope to meet some BM in June/July.

Its a place under some apartments (where a few BM's stay) that has a pool and jacussi and bar and resturant.. Basically many needs can be served in one out of the way joint.. very expat based and less tourist based..

Turn up.. Few beers... check your email... shoot the shit with your mates... have a splash.. hop in the jacuzzi.. more beers.. etc..

Its one of my fave daytime spots TBH and has a lot of potential once we start to get more FL girls in there in the daytime.. Currently BM's are away which has slowed down some plans (might delay next pool party until the second sat of June to get Paul back MC'ing and owner back).. Hopefully there will be a once monthly pool party..

Valhalla also has a similar vibe..

Cheers LL, you say it is Expat based...thats not to say that tourists aren't welcome I hope...It sounds pretty cool and plan on taking some mates to check it out. What time is it best to venture up there?? (what time is it open?). I hope that there is a party organised... Is it open daily? And finally, could you just go up there middayish, and swill beers and have a feed, just to prime yourself for a good night down at the bars? Thanks for your help mate.

Of course tourists are more than welcome, its just that its an out of the way spot and not going to be the kind of place that tourists would easily find out about..

Many of us do just use it for feed and a quick swill.. grub seems ok.. Most people not up until about 2 ish though

Somebody mentioned plans of a Sauna.

It would make the place perfect, now we often go to Green View for pool/relax because they have sauna.

opposite nanai 2.. about 50m towards Sai Nam yen.. Small private Rd leading up the side of and round behind 'Lenny's cafe and those shop houses..

Look for the concrete shark with the hawian shirt and what looks suspiciously like a fat joint in its mouth (why is it not cigar brown ?)..

i am in the states, as well as robb, the owner, but i should be back in a couple weeks, so id say maybe a party in the middle-late june. the place is really cool just to hang out, go swimming, check your email and drink some beers.

Dont even know if a soi like that has a formal name (private road) often they just get numbered..

If you use it enought it will be called Soi Wetwillies (like Soi Patong language school and some others before)
