BG Asking for Money
She wrote to me saying she was at home in Nong Khai and no longer worked in bar. She said she had no job and I was the first farang she had slept with. This must be familiar. Feeling kind I said I would send her something for New Year. I sent £75 by Western Union and she wrote back and said she wanted 10,000 Baht per month. She sent me photos of her two sons at University she needed money for. I suppose I ought to have ended it here. Anyway I wrote back but ignored her request for money. I said next time I come to Thailand I wanted to take her in the rear hole but she doesn't answer that. She says how much she loves me and misses me, she has no one else and that I am her husband in Thailand. She knows I have a wife in England. I asked her when is her birthday and amazingly it was in 2 weeks time. I sent her £100 thinking this is the last. Now she keeps writing again saying she has no money and will I send some. So far I have ignored these requests but I am inclined now to stop writing altogether. I am going to Thailand again in December. I look forward to members comments, critical or otherwise. I used to date this BG and i became friendly with many of her friends ( not sexual lol) I was asked by many of those girls to write emails or SMS to their biy friends and have been asked many times to write emails asking for money for various reasons. Everyone knows that these emails as BS however the girls are still getting money. One girl i know well (she is hot though, A+, plastic boobs) gets close to 100,000 THB (total) a month from 8 different guys who all think they are the only one.
I wouldnt send money if I was you. If you do want then atleast ask for a land line number where you can reach her so that you can atleast check if she is really in her home town or not.

You should try read a lot of the posts on this forum as they have loads of really helpful imformation on Los, It will open your eyes a little bit more to what really goes on!!!

The vast majority of Thai people are poor and will do what they can to get money. One popular way is to just ask. If the man says "no", then what does she lose ? Nothing, she has everything to gain and nothing to lose. If she gets money then she is happy. Once this method has worked, then of course she will continue, until money stops coming. Regardless of whether you stop mailing her or not, she won't lose any sleep, someone else will come along and so the process continues.
Another thing to bear in mind, is that time is against her and she stands a lot less chance of finding a rich benefactor than a girl in her 20's. Because the Thai people are generally so poor, can you really blame her ?? She is doing what most people would do in her situation, trying to feed herself and her family. She is also trying to give her children the best possible start in life. This is not a "Thai thing", this is something that virtually every mother does, the world over. You sent money so she still asks. I know it's not quite the same, but ask yourself this, if you went to an ATM that overpaid i.e. gave you more money than you asked for, would you try that ATM again ?? Would you try for some more free moeny ?? The simple is "Yes", of course you would. It's human nature, you come across an opportunity and you try for more, that is all she is doing. You don't need to hate her for it, or even stop mailing her. You just need to decide whether you want to continue sending her money or not. If you stop and she doesn't respond to your mails in the future, what have you lost ?? Nothing really, especially as there as so many more women in Thailand to have your fun with - shame on you though, being a married man. Diz

Agreed here; at the risk of being obvious, they all do that mate! If she is 46, and your profile is correct giving your age, she may well see you as her last chance of a meal ticket. Of course it's up to you, but she would not get money out of me.
Helping out when you can afford to is a good thing to do, but if you allow your chain to be yanked it will just happen again and again.

For the most part, I agree with the previous comments of the BM. Unless you enjoy giving your money away, it seems a bit of an exercise in futility.
However, we've heard one "Shame on you" for cheating on his wife, a second for going with an "old has been", instead of a sexy young babe(granted this may be said in jest?), and, if he did that, then I am sure we would hear a "Shame on you" or two for a man of 72 going with a 20 yr old. Although I don't ordinarily condone infidelity, I don't think conclusions can be made out of hand without knowing specifics of a particular case. Perhaps his wife knows and condones or even encourages his behavior. At the age of 70, I think there are a lot of women who would rather their spouse go bother someone else. I have read about a lot of complaints about Viagra from old women, who said, "For God's sake, I thought I was finally rid of that(having sex), and now I've got him pestering me again. It's disgusting!" A lot of the criticism of old men going with young women, stems from women saying, "OMG, those poor BGs, having to go with the disgusting old men. Could you even imagine how disgusting it would be to have sex with that fat, wrinkled, ugly old thing! I feel so sorry for the BGs!" Well, if an old man is so disgusting, and for a woman to have sex with him is such a horrendous sacrifice, then it is just as disgusting for the old woman to have to do it as the young BG, maybe even more so, because the old woman has two disgusting old bodies to look at and contend with, whereas a pretty young BG at least has her own nubile young body to spruce up the bedroom scenery a little bit. And, at least, the BG gets paid for it, and can go buy herself something to make herself feel better, whereas the old wife gets nothing! So, I think it is not good to be so quick to judge, without knowing specifics. Look at Tintin; his wife has even met the BG he was with, and she has no problem, and it seems as if they have a much better relationship than many couples do these days. They understand each other's needs and want each other to be happy. Is that so awful? So I can understand why these things are said, and that there are good reasons and good intentions for saying them, but I still think that it is a bit of a knee-jerk reaction, without knowing the whole story! She's playing you like a fiddle don't send money or respond to any more emails break it off clean maybe just send one email stating it's over finished.
You went on holiday had your fun I'm assuming you paid her at the time the deal is over, I can tell you this for a BG her working career is finished IMHO she is now looking at finding some alternative income source don't let it be you.

Thanks for all your comments, as regards the BG's motives you are probably quite correct. Less of the "old has been" though, she was as good in bed as any 20 year old. As for the "shame on you" my wife knows.
I shall write again but not send any money. If she stops writing, so be it, there are plenty of fish in the sea.

I was actually informed by an asian that 'the Chinese formula for happiness' was having a girl half your age + 7 years...
