Whilst July is low season, there is still plenty to keep you entertained here. As far as accom goes, many BM's stay at the C&N, cheap and very convenient to all the action, with no questions asked.

As for putting entertainment down as expenses, it's all cash and no receipts, so revert to plan B.

Cheers

Shouldn't this be on the Newbie board?

I realize I'll likely get flamed for this opinion, but after all, what's the newbie board for if loads of the posts on the general and nightlife boards are essentially newbie questions? OK, now everyone can flame me...

No need for a flame, its a reasonable question. I know that I dont see the need to move these posts to the "newbie" forum, and I'm sure Nicke doesnt as well.

I didn't flame the guy. I just asked a question, which remains unanswered. In short, why do we have a "newbie" forum if many if not most of such newbie questions are still posted in the "general" forum?

I suppose it doesn't matter much, but certainly there must be some point to having different forums. Otherwise we may as well just have one forum and call it "Phuket" forum. Just my opinion, Steve. Cheers

I think we have the "newbie" section apollo, for most of the newbies to ask and get the answers to the most asked questions.
There will always be people who post in the wrong section, but its not the end of the world.
I think its a very useful forum and if I were a newbie,I'd be grateful for the good advise offered there. Its also the first place I'd look to see if my question had been asked before.

Hi matty01

If you mean C&N Hotel then its on Rat-u Thid Road which is one road back parallel with the beach. It can be reached by going up Bangla Rd toward Rat u Thid Rd and its almost opposite.

No one said you did flame anyone.

If a newbie question is asked in another forum, it will more than likely stay there. If we were to start reading every post and then decidiing whether it should stay in the current forum or should be moved, then I doubt we would get much of anything else done in life.

Im fairly new but I thought the idea was, if you posted in the newbie formum, no matter how stupid your question was, that you would not get flamed.
If you asked the same question in a general forum you ran the risk of getting flamed(newbie or not).
If that is the idea, to me its good.It does say on the "Newbie"forum no flaming here.
That does not mean you have to flame just if you want to be safe stick to the newbie forum as all answers are designed to be helpful?????
