ok i downloaded it ok but how the hell do i work it i can't open it as 1 program so it don't mean anything, can you send me a private message with some instructions on how to open it thanks very much

I am still downloading, but it looks to me to be an "image" file. The web site states there are 3 files: Thai.cd, Thai.img, and Thai.sub. You need to find the "burn an image" file on your CD burning software. Just select the option to burn an image CD, drag in the appropriate file, and let Nero burn the CD. Once the CD is burned, you can run the CD from your CD drive. (It may be worth scanning it first for any trojans, virus, etc ... prior to running for the CD for the first time).

Or use something like cloneCD to mount the image off of HD..

I have Rosetta stone and Pimsluer if anyone wants them.. Pimsluer seems much better IMHO..

ccd is a clonecd image download clone cd and burn with that it should automatically detect it

i burnt the cd and i still cant get it working, all the files are seperate if you know what i mean, i can view pics, video and text files but they aint opening together i really am thick i need step by step instuctions

Per louiswhitehouse's comments, as near as I can tell this is a CD that may be a companion CD to a main "learn Thai program", or a 2nd CD, where the 1st CD is still needed. Perhaps there is a book that goes with it.

It also appears to me, the download, by itself, is not complete.

However, having typed that, for r3aps, your efforts/willingness to share IS appreciated (for you did state in your original post, you were still downloading, which hinted/suggested to me it may not be complete).

For running any Rosetta stone application you also need the main Rosetta Stone program , can be found on many torrent sites

Los, the only thing is each person is a little different, I've tried the rs product and like it, I'm now trying to download the rest. The thing is I don't like to learn via translation, I feel I learn more by seeing something and putting a word to it, this way it helps me not to think in english first and translate to thai...I've got the Pimsluer and its done very well..at least the audio verison that I have is good.

Well anyone with any info on getting the rest of the rs to run please keep us informed.

To get the Rosetta Stone software up and running, you'll need to, first, download, burn, and install the application CD. Then, you'll download and burn the relevant language and picture files (both of which you will find in the ccd/img files in the torrent). You can either burn the image directly or use a program such as Isobuster to extract the files, and then burn them. Then, insert the language disk into an appropriate drive and start the Rosetta Stone program. It will automatically scan your CD/DVD drives and load whatever lessons it finds there. And that's it!

Honestly, I tied everything to make it run, but failed miserably!

First I downloaded Rosetta stone
Then Thai language

I burned the 3 files on a cd, using cd-rom burning

When I try to open the cd, all I see is these 3 files again, don't know how to install the RS program!

I didn't burn the Thai language program because the installation of RS failed!

I suspect you are burning a CD 'image' file without decompressing the image to the disc (why I reccomend cloneCD)...

What files do you have (names etc)..

download daemon tools(search for it on net) install then mount the install cd let it install,then mount 2nd disk,open first program run and select add language,it will recognise other disk if mounted on daemon tools.works for me.

I did nothing with them, selected them to burn the cd with nero.

It is not easy to use! I don't understand that I have to do other manipulations!

Google and read up on CD 'image' files..

Basically they are a rip of the CD as a single file (or group my piont being not the multiple files of the CD).. if you install deamon tools or CloneCD like people are advising you can mount the image as a 'false' drive..

Entire image files are very very common file formats..

Normally I get a program, run exe -file and everything goes by itself!

Well if you purchased the product I imagine it would be that simple !!!!

If you want to steal the program you have to deal with the way people pack CD's for distribution.. Get CloneCD.. install it.. Mount the CD image.. install the program..

Thats not too complex..
