what type of breakfast do the BMs like
myself I normally have the "dingo's breakfast" when in patong

My old man used to have a few descriptions...

A Hares breakfast was a sh1t and to run (if your late you have a hares breakfast)..

A Paddies breakfast was a sh1t, a fag, and to work..

He had another which was a Paddies breakfast but with time for a coffee (my usual) but cant remember what his funny for that was...

He was full of odd sayings that I have not heard out of anyone else.. water was 'Rock wine' !!!!

couple of cold "dogs eyes" (meat pies) and lime soft drink.

Breakfast depends on the night before. Can be none or very light after a night of boozing, can be more if I feel good. This is also the case for my lunch.

A zip of whiskey witch is standing beside my bed (good for stomac), a shower (good for No Bad Smell) .. a coupe of yoghart (good for stomac) and then a much larger zip of whiskey (good for anything) and im fit for fight again

ps. There have been times when i had to take 2 zip of whiskey before shower or even 3-4-5 zip of whiskey after the yoghart 55555

I really got into the rice soup for breakfast on my last stay - Kao Tom, I think its called, with freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh coffee. Found a cafe on Rat-u-thit that could supply all of these, and the coffee was brilliant. Can't remember the name of the cafe but it was almost next door to Andaman dental.

if the "meal" was good the night before I just wake her up and have another snack and go back to sleep and wait for lunch.

Usually after a big night of boozing I like scrambeld eggs, hash browns, toast or english muffins, and bacon and then usually some type of meat for lunch as I find the protien helps straighten me back out again. If I am going scuba diving I usually eat a big meal the night before and then have a light in the morning breakfast and then snack on the boat.

When I have breakfast included, I..

start with some eggs on fried rice with shrimps

after this I will eat mixed fruit (melon, ananas) with yaourt and
a sweet cake

together with some coffee, and fruit juice

thatīs all food I need until dinner

Never make it to eat breakfast, eat anything placed in front of me for first meal usually mid afternoon - don't do mornings. Fcuk I'm on holiday!!

It's the Aussie breakfast for me, without a doubt!

Omelette, ham, beef, potatoes, baked beans, and onions sauteed in gravy. With a glass of orange juice. They actually included toast and coffee/tea, as well, although I don't eat bread, and no coffee/tea at breakfast. I would have them bring a cup of hot water and make ginseng tea with it. The pharmacies sell the ginseng packets for tea!

The Aussie breakfast is a marvelous thing. Never saw anything like it in the US, where people don't eat beef or beans for breakfast(except Mexican huevos rancheros, which is pinto beans, not baked beans). All of that in one meal is a great treat for me, and a wonderful way to start the day as I need to fill my stomach in the AM(even if that comes at 3 PM in LOS), and Thai food is just too light for me, as much as I love it and would sooner eat Thai, it just doesn't work well for me!!

Thanks to all the Aussies for inventing the Aussie breakfast. Much better than American breakfast. Wish I could get it here! And sure beats bangers and whatever those English eat with them, that is a gut buster, gives me indigestion. Nice piece of beef, beans, ham, etc. beats it all to hell!

P.S. And for dessert, I would buy a bag of watermelon while I was waiting for them to cook my meal, when the cart rolled by on the street, bring it in, and eat it at the table after my meal. They would never let you do that here either, eat food you bought elsewhere, but they didn't mind at all in LOS!!

Try a bit of "billy tea"

BILLY TEA

Tea made over the campfire in the outback way.

Bring a "billy can" of water to the boil over the campfire then remove from the heat. Add 2-3 teaspoons of the black tea leaves. (Traditionally, the billy can be swung by the handle in a "round the world" motion for an authentic touch.

Dangerous for the novice so don't try this but at home.

The tea can be infused with eucalyptus leaves, aniseed myrtle or native peppermint

AND Australian Damper

Traditionally this bread was made by bush settlers and should be cooked in a camp-oven (large cast-iron pot with lid) in the hot ashes of an open fire but can be baked in any regular oven. There are many versions but here is one of them.

3 cups self-raising flour
1 - 2 teaspoons salt
90 grams butter; melted
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
extra milk for glazing
extra flour for dusting
extra butter for serving
Golden Syrup or light molasses

Preheat oven to moderately hot 210 degrees Celsius. Brush an oven tray with melted butter or oil. Sift flour and salt into large mixing bowl; make a well in the centre. Combine butter, water and milk and add to flour. Stir with a knife until just combined. Turn onto lightly floured surface; knead 20 seconds or until smooth. Transfer dough to tray; press out to a 20 centimetre round. Using a sharp pointed knife, score into 8 sections 1 centimetre deep. Brush with milk; dust with flour. Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to moderate 180 degrees Celsius. Bake 15 minutes or until Damper is golden and sounds hollow when tapped. Serve with extra butter and syrup.

thats what i love about LOS the most. just things that you couldnt do in america. just stupid simple things like the watermelon you were talking about. with my dog, when he 1st got to my apartment id bring him down to wet willy's but tie him to the fence. but then rab, the managaer, insisted that i let him go where he wanted, and hed walk in and out of the restaurant, id try and make sure he didnt beg for food. people just didnt seem to care, they would die if that happened in US
