J 019 and crazymenace,
The BM's on the forum that are giving you the advice have been to LOS a lot, and while they do not partake in the drug scene in LOS, have seen many a farang get in very serious trouble due to drugs and they are just trying to tell you that you would be a lot safer staying away from drugs while in LOS. Previous threads have talked about farangs being set up in drug deals and now there has been some drug testing in LOS and there is a thread about that so you might want to do a search and read the previous threads. You sre big boys and will make your own choice but it is a much harder fall in LOS than anything that will ever happen to you in US or Europe and they are just trying to tell you to watch out.

Maybe to late by now but a little advise for the young boys from a not so old boy myself. See the time you are in Thailand to have a little break in the drug use. Get sober and enjoy it . You can smoke again everyday when your back home.

when i made that post what you are refering to i did not have a clue what it was like out there and how corrupt the Police are, and now have spoke 2 a m8 out there who has told me how carefull you have got 2 be, but yeah i have took note of the warnings as i dont want to end up in the slammer!
