it takes place during the first nine days of the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar, usually in late September or early October

Thankyou for that, Im hoping to come over for the event. Is there anywhere i could find the exact dates/days of which it will be held. Does it normally go on for a couple of weeks. Cheers bev

was over for it about 6 years ago you will see some amazing things,then it was more centred around phuket town with smaller events at patong.

the food was good too little stalls on the road where processions took place.
