ups is cheap on docs but expensive on packages..

Airmail takes 5 - 10 days by thai airmail (register / recorded it if it has ANY value).. And They have another one slightly faster EMS but not available to every country (or cant insure to every country I forget)..

I think most couriers are little bit expensive as initial fee, try to add some more kg/things to your shipping to make the fee more valuable. I prefer EMS for everything sent inside Thailand and DHL for outside Thailand.

Yeah Paul.. The post office...

5 - 10 days is normal.. 14 is a long wait.. thats for airmail.. EMS is quicker but I have not needed it... Just be sure its not surface mail / parcel post as that can be 6 weeks easy..

Again tho.. I have had lots of stuff go missing.. if it looks like anything valuable it gets nicked !!!

Just be aware...

I have sent gifts to Sweden (My sister's children) and my packages never reached them, both as airmail and by using EMS.

So thats why I stick to reliable couriers these days.

Just make sure its signed for / registered / recorded (whatever its called in your country) as they are fully tracked and less likely to be pinched..
