Going to Phuket 8/19-8/21

I heard about the rain season, and I really need to know how bad the weather can get? My girls and I are planning on sunbathing on the beach, maybe dipping into the beach a little bit (just up to our hips I guess because of the flags and such), spa, food, and clubbing.

So...how bad will the rain be? Is there still sun?

Oh, and what's all the abbreviations you guys are using liek LOC and blah blah blah

Welcome to the board.

Don't worry too much about the weather, it is wet season now, but don't mean that it rains all the day, usually it rains a few minutes each day but you will have a lot of sun too.

I have posted it already, but on http://www.alexmalcolm.net/ you will find a detaild historic reports of the weather for some years.

I don't know Hilton Arcadia BR, but it is a big hotel, all of them are very good in LOS, so enjoy your holidays
