i just pm mav because i know he did it, but iwas wondering whats the procedures if you wanted to go a a week holiday to hong kong with a tg. does she need a visa beforehand or can she just enter hong kong?

I think as long as you travel together and go up to the immigration counter as a couple, you should have no problem. if a tg travels alone then I was told she would have to prove a mininium of 30000 baht in her bank account.

Marc ,when I opened this thread and read your post , I scrolled down to see if there was any "similar threads". There is one in the general section "Hong Kong Weekender" which answers your question and has a link to another site.

You would not have seen the "similar threads" , as it would only appear when you posted about Hong Kong
