October schedule
I was in Phuket from Aug 10-15 & one of the days (I think Aug 12) happened to be Queen Mother's B'day. So all the bars were closed & it was a real bummer. I am planning to be in Phuket again from Oct 13- Oct 20. Do any of you know if there are any local events which will force a black out during that time (Oct 13-20) ? Thanx

These are the special days left for this year but you see bars are not allways closed on some of them only the kings birthday.
Tue Nov 15 Loy Krathong. Bars open. Mon Dec 5 HM The King's Birthday. Bars shut. Sat Dec 10 Constitution Day. Bars open. Sat Dec 31 New Year's Eve. Bars definitely open!
