To me Phuket's one major MUST SEE.....superb....my nephew has done it twice....but then I never did understand him!.

the Phuket Vegetarian Festival. is to me like Phuket Gay Pride Parade nice to lock at but not to be a part of.
ps. have spent lots of nights in the bars in soi paradise but always

.......That would be??????......Walked from the start all the way to Phuket Town....Supposedly people are finished at the end of the parade....The KFC in the Bottom floor of Robinsons was packed with people dressed in white.....open Thai Whiskey drinking.
I personally say how fast a person (that's the quiz) heals the wounds..hint to quiz. Herdette who had had the most photos posts lately!
somebody tell all about the history and why people do it today!

Even the ladies get in on the act, although delicately done with flowers.

I've seen bicycles, fishing rods, all sorts of things through the cheek, the wounds heal quick, but my nphew retains scarring from it, though not very visible.

I must admit, I actually enjoyed Thaipusam in Malaysia even more, Only been there once for it, but it was a great day, and some of the things they did were bizarre.

The delightful Miss Pen did the thing last year!

I think I was in Patong for about two weeks that time and remember she was totally comitted to the concept ..
...Interesting that smoking is not part of the taboo list while wearing white!

I hosted a group run to Phuket town, Tee, Pom, and Nok went along to see their roomie in action.....
