It's worth a try to help her out of the bar scene if you can afford it but don't expect a result - there will be 'mishaps' who knows how many, depends on the girl.

She may well not want to work anymore and be true to you but as soon as her mates are going out she will want to go too. Then it's just a few drinks before they'll all start eyeing up the farangs.

The flipside is if you don't help her out there is next to zero chance of keeping her out of the bars.

Ask her if she'll " keep you" if you move in with her.

That's pretty cruel because a lot of them will, but only have one means of doing it. What you are really asking is 'can I be your pimp?' If that does not change her view of you then she is either very much in love or as dumb as it gets.

Do not agree with this method at all.....from what l have read and experienced this would be totally against Thai culture.

The point I was making was that some girls do genuinely care for you in a big way. It's very difficult to assess if they are genuine and one way of finding out if they are ,would be to put this question to them or something similar.
I'm sure other BMs. have had similar offers and I know that lot's of Bms. have doubts about their gf. reasons for being with them.
Of course I'm not suggesting for one minute that anyone should take up an offer like this. Only an absolute pr-ck would even consider it.

Whilst in Patong, in December I want to live in the bars. But just for a change want something a bit classy. Not that the bgs are not, I’m sure. Good englesh, good communicator, intellegent, maybe tall, slim I know its going to cost me but I would go a few days of being careful. Want a good memory of something special after saving up for a year.

LivinLOS mentioined a place called the posidon, is this where I would find such grls? Anywhere else?

If you meet tall, slim, Thai girls just check that they don't have a co*k as well. That would make your evening one to remember....

Agreed, but as I say a lot of them would actually do it, so probably best to never ask in the first place.

Guys,

An update,i had my girl investigated and allthough there was little info available true to her word she does not work at the bar in question any more and did not leave to work in another bar the mauasan said.
she is willing to go back to bangkok to work in a job that she did for 6 years prior to the 5 months bar work.
im plan to send her 10.000baht per month...do you think this is enough to live on in bangkok....im not sure if she should or shoulnot work in the factory...would 10.000 be enough without her working?
i plan on doing this untill april then i will stay with her 3 weeks and i will pepare the visa.
She has never asked for anything nor has there been any warning bells but due to all the negative stories out there im quite suspicious,how many sucess stories with bg's have you heard,

10k is lean in BKK.. Lots of thais live on that much or less but its not easy in the capital.. With working and adding another 5 or so to it it becomes comfortable enough.. its doable but borderline.. depends on where she is, how she lives, room costs etc..

Also working each day keeps her out of trouble and temptation..

If she is working and earning 6000 or so, plus your 10 she will be ok.

i know a certain friend of mine has access to work in a factory in KKC making clothes for Nike and Addidas and all the pay there is 7000THB a month.
