Taking a BG to Krabi
Great forum. I always get good advice here. Coming back in a couple of weeks for my second slice of paradise.
How easy is it to get over to Krabi? How long does it take? How do I get there?
If I want to take a BG with me, how much should I give her? Will she be allowed to be absent from work for a few days? Will I have to pay 3 days worth of bar fines??????

Why not hire a car and drive yourself, then you have your own transport while your there. Its an easy drive and there are things to see on the way as well.

Don't stay in Krabi Town
If you go to Krabi I recommend staying in East or West Railay. Very beautiful area. Take the ferry from Phuket, I believe there is a direct boat to Railay. I took a BG there last year, she had a blast. Stayed at the Railay Bay Resort & Spa at West Railay. Very good hotel, nice pool.

Ao Nang is quite nice. It's quiet enough and in need of business too. The name escapes me but if you're familiar with Ao Nang there is a new place that opened up and has top quality rooms for 500 baht(It's a promotion). It's located right at the bridge.
