Phuket - Golf

Been to LOS 4 times now and still haven't got around to playing a round of golf....
Other than hanging out at the beach during the day I love getting a round in but on two occasions the courses I have approached charge astranomical prices...ie one was towards the airport
I'm a social player so paying around 100 US is a bit pricey...
Can someone fill me in on cheaper courses around Patong?

I think you get down to 1700 for 18 holes at Phuket Country Club or Loch Palm if you buy in advance, e.g. one of those golf discount shops.

Phuket Country Club 9 holes is 1300 includng caddy and clubs, which I play most of the time.

If that's an invitation IJ, I might give it a go. Have not played for about 20 years but happy to join in the fun.

haha I was the same Gez. Believe me ,the 9 hole course at PCC is NOT for beginners

Get yourself off to your local driving range and putting green for some intensive practice. You'll need it if I was anything to go by.

Oh, and get plenty of balls,there's lots of water
