Umm, there a small detail called visas, which I dont think you have given much thought to. Not too much money, believe me you will need it, regardless of how you decide you want to live.

Smoked some joints? With no money, forget it. Maybe you can consider Africa. Very warm there also. Make you happy!

Yes Kimi and do not forget, if you live there yourself, after a while, it is NOT paradise anymore.

I see many expats, who are complaining all the time. Once they loved the Thais, now not so much any more. The oh so beautiful weather is now humid! Thailand is not so cheap anymore, now they live there. What once was fun, the bargirls, the nightlife is tiresome!

Think about this: It is paradise for a few weeks, because you are out of your regulated life in Germany. To live there, still can be fun, if you organize well, but after a while, it is not so special anymore.

Also it is nice in some ways, that Phuket has develloped and that you can find also the nice things you like at home. Big shopping-malls, movie theaters etc.
But Phuket becomes one big city and not a coconut groove. Traffic is bad and dangerous, also, or even worse like home!

No, then I prefer, to live whole year the Provence. Very quiet where we live, not too far away from a town, and easier to see the family who stayed in Belgium.

And......Los to go to in winter!

Kimi, how much time have you spent on holiday in Thailand so far?

What happens if you and your family do nt like it - can you get back to Germany and start there again.

It sounds like a bit of a dream to me.

This is almost certainly a wind up.
If not, then you are living in cloud cuckoo land.
Time to come down boy.

The very idea of doing that to your children.. Basically wrecking thier chances of an education and future lifestyle available to a 1st world person.. Iether this is a windup or its the most selfish, ignorant, stupid, airheaded thing I have read in a long long time..

C'mon fess up, this is Richie having a laugh isnt it ??

Lightbulb crazy idea dude ,

hello, I'm living in Germany with my family, and its very hard to living in Germany

yeah this sounds crazy , cant live off the land in LOS coz you cant really own it . plus its cheaper to live in Spain than it is to live in Thailand in allot of cases anyway . try there and its closer to Germany if it goes tits up.

best bet would be to bin of the old women in doors and leave the chavs with her, that way your have 3 times as long to stay in LOS , with 3 less mouths
to feed

job done

I'm not quite sure wether or not you mean the ignore function does not completely block out anything from someone on your ingore list, or wether that comment was referring to me?

55555 !! I have re-read what I said and can see why you thought that.

No, if someone sees a post from said twat and clicks on "quote", then the twats message appears ("Originally posted by a twat") and can be seen, even though you have put the said twat on "ignore".

5555 yes..you can see the obvious confusion..lol

Well.. I didn't know that regarding the ignore function, but you learn something new every day here.

Just as a sidenote mate, I actually think from my point of view that this forum has too many top guys as boardies for my enjoyment to me spoiled by a few twats here and there.

Don't let the ba$tards grind you down as I always like to say

Not quite sure how to read this post but just to say that wolf with 180+ posts none of which are very 'trolly' seems to have passed the richie test no ??

Either way.. good to see your posts..

As far as I'm concerned, nope !! Although, if he does in fact materialise on December 30th as he has suggested, then of course there is a hat somewhere that I shall no doubt have to eat
