I could point out loads of Swedish ones but I guess you are not interested in them... They are not exciting at all.

Its not a military site as such, but they have added some NASA imagery of the moon, showing the lunar landing sites. Really cool!

You are best off searching on Google Earth Community

I've just noticed they have a military section as well here which should be just what you are after.

I had a look at our Gaff here in Baghdad yesterday and it has even got the new accommodation trailers we dumped on the owners lawn last week on there! Had a look at Patong Villa pool (Nobody in it) and a few of the Married Quarters I used to live in when I was in the mob. I am now measuring the Golf Course in Phuket to get my stroke distance carded and worked out ready for the BB Open!

I think I may have used half the companys bandwidth for the month of December but anything to give me an advantage over Dodger on the Golf course is worth it!! Oh yes!

It is just a blur , but there is a link to an overlay that shows the basics.

I haven't looked, but I suspect my brother's house will be on there. He left the RAF twenty years ago,but still teaches English to ETS (Especially Thick Squaddies) - does that count?

Thats whats known as "phonetic spellling" .. if I'd known you were a highly skilled linguist I would have refrained from using it. But as you seemed to struggle with the meaning of "mark" , I did'nt think that was the case .. hence the use of "?" instead of "mai" .. did'nt want to complicate things any more than neccessary.

I really feel for the guys staioned in Iraq - Considering its winter there right now, imagine what it would be like in Summer.

Some more pics of the weather we can get out here.

The snow was up in Kirkuk last year, I was surprised to learn it is quite a regular occurance up there!

The pictures of the sand storm at Al-Asad airbase are brilliant, I have posted one here. Looks like a scene from the bloody 'Mummy Returns!'

56 Degrees is about the normal daily temperature, it has been hotter but I stayed indoors for it, sat in a fridge.

Theres one of some sexy British bloke out in the Mid-day sun! Probably looking for a cup of tea and a scone!
