Mapping online..
Google once again have sorted things out..
Thailand is now on the Google Maps system.. Amazing level of detail.. Looks to be right down to the smallest of soi level.. Google Maps As this builds in with GE we can use KMZ files etc.. Another really helpful tool.. Just wish they had english script road names also.. Until now Sunems maps were the best out.. This is just so much larger scope.

Pretty cool. They even have my little soi on there. Missing the new Kathu-Chalong road, but don't think it is officially open yet. Have a bunch of the back roads on there as well. Very cool. Wish they would refresh the sattilite images.
Who will be the first to plunk a MTB Marker on there?

Can you make the screen image bigger? apart from just hitting the little enlarger button top right? at its biggest on my view it is a slither of a street map thing about 2 inches wide?

You can do a hybrid blend now. But the West side of phuket images are very low rez.

How can I hybrid in GE (or do you just mean on the online GMaps ??)..
I am using GE overlays for weather, cloud sat photos, looking at getting a Sony GPS logger for geotagging.. Such a great application..

I meant google maps. I'm behind on Google Earth app, so not sure what is going on with that.
Frackin' awesome app. I want to start playing with the API and do a mash-up. Would be more fun if the image coverage was better. I've got some nutty ideas.
