2 suggested methods...

1) Stay on paper next to the beer truck ...always beer kept chilled as antidote to excessive afternoon temperatures.

2) If super keen and do the run .... just make some offensive comment to the GM at the end of the run and a nice spell on the ice block will do wonder - free beer included!

Plenty of snow in the UK. The problem is laying a trail of white flour on snow!

How did they mark the trail ST?I have heard of other hashes using food dye as it makes a good mark but disappears when the snow melts.

They used flour, and it's was not easy to find the trail.
Flour is not as white as snow, but it is very close.
Sometimes here in Denmark we use rust with flour, giving it a little brown color.
