Halloween run

Holy crap, it's about time I'm able to make a post.

Hey, is there anything going on October 31st? I'll be in town after InterHash, and would like to lay a trail. I've gotten a lot of interest on the IH forum, and even have co-hares. Thing is, I may need a little help form someone local. Plan was to do more of a pub crawl in holloween costumes.

Anyone wanna help, or tell me that date is already taken?

Welcome to the board EZFag - thats a good idea - Crustasian (BM) here is the most experienced Hasher BM living here - I'm sure he and the other Hasher BM's will have some good input.

The monthly (male only) Tinman run (1st Wed each month) will be on 1st November .... but I'm sure a pub crawl Halloween run would be well recieved.

Cool Not available

I am still up in Chiang Mai so cannot help.

Maybe Gollum could reset the route we used on the Patong Hugh Organ Run.

OK, I finally found the Phuket CALENDAR. GOD knows that you can't list the CALENDAR under a tab that says CALENDAR. It has to be under the tab that says RECEDING HARELINE. Thats what I have on my head (Head, who said head? I'll take some of that...). OK, done *****ing.

Now looking at the CALENDAR, it appears that the Koma hash has a trail scheduled for that night. Now can I get some help here, or am I going to have to look under another mystery tab? Is the Koma over there at Patong Beach, or is it somewhere else? If it is in Patong, can I volunteer to be the hare that night, and have a fun halloween run, or is someone already planing it?

Lemme know.

EZF- The Kamala Koma runs out of Kamala - bus leaves from Hasher Singha's resturant Ban Rim Klong at 3pm ..... I'll ask them what they are doing for this run as no hares are listed down at the moment.

The guy that keeps the Phuket-HHH website updated is having some internet/phone line problems at the moment.

Note too that 1st Nov is a TinMan - male only (harder?) hash run that will depart the Expat Hotel at 3pm followed by meal etc - the hare for this is Swollen Colon - so expect a good challenging run .

Don't like fcukng with the KK but if enough people want to I'll walk EZF through the Hugh Jorgen run that Goatboy and myself set 18 months ago, nice short run? but with a few bar stops on the way round - might be worth combining it with a BM's Bar pub crawl? any thoughts?

Don't recall whether you were on that run DB but it was the standard circuit round town with a couple of extra bits. Shouldn't be too hard to remember where we went, after all that time the memory of the event has returned.

K2, I'm obviously geographicaly inept. I have no idea where Kamala is.

That being said.

Gollum and Dogblower: Are you guys up for helping me co-hare a halloween trail around Patong? More of a pub crawl type, with some fried chicken checks if we can get some. I'm not talking anything real athletic. If we can get HOT chicks in costumes to come with us (I just talked RamPam from SanFran into it. She has the HOTEST nurses outfit). I'll put out the word on the ChangMai forum.

EZF - Kamala is about 8 miles north of Patong - it depends where the OnOn for the Koma will be (not necessarily finish in Kamala - I hav'nt had a chance to find out who the hares are yet) - they normally finish around 9pm so a pub-crawl type run is an option afterward as most bars dont open until then in any case.

EZF - what are your dates in Phuket??

Upcomming Phuket-HHH listed here:

Phuket Hash House Harriers - Receding Hareline

9 might be a good idea.
I'll be inPhuket from Monday till Friday. I was thinking of laying a trail on Thursday, (I don't think there is anything scheculed yet for that) but Halloween is on Tuesday, so I figured I would try it then.
If Kamala is doing a haloween trail that day, that is fine I'll run it instead. This is what I was trying to find out.

EZF - Will try find out who is haring the Koma on 31st - maybe not able to get this info before this weekend.

For a pub trail - wont be able to lay the trail the day before because they clean the street early every morning.

Will you be going on the Tinman Wed (1st Nov) ??

OK, you have like a month. Now you have a mission.

I would like to run the tinman, yes. (Another reason that I don't want a long trail on the 31st).

Pub-crawl post Tinman (1st) might be better option, but will update you EZF once I've found out whats happening with the Koma (31st).

I've always been curious about this... And i'll be honest i haven't done a search or anything, but do you guys actually run? Or do you just walk from bar to bar and have drinks? From reading some of the things on here, seems to me that you guys actually go running with stops at bars... Doesn't make sense to me because how can you run with a couple of beers in ya... I'm sure i could do it if i had katoeys chasing me but otherwise don't think so... Can someone pls explain...

So you've seen through our cunning disguise ...? You'll always find some young fools who want to run, but the more experienced ones know to take it easy and reserve our energy for the more important things, like

"Are you sure this is the right bar?"
"Dunno, but its got some good looking women in it."
"You're right. Should we have another one here then do you think?"
etc, etc.

I've never managed to finish one of these yet, but they're always fun.

Oh.... Yeah thats sort of what i thought... Ha i'm one of those young fools, however i'd only be able to run for about 5mins anyway so stopping in a bar and walking over to the next one and the next sounds good to me. Maybe i'll join the holloween run if you guys avtually do it.

Bobbing around on a boat so not much running to be done. Not a lot of camel toes either.

Hashers + BM's Up for a Halloween 'Run'

If could gauge interest in BM's and Hashers up for a Halloween 'Run' (read pub crawl sort of thing) - please indicate this so can see if have enough to make it worthwhile.

Good to get you along Insomniac - maybe could tempt you into a Sat run one day?

EZFAG check out Phuket Hash House Harriers - a drinking club with a running problem for normal hashes on the Island. Halloween may just bee a pubcrawl but (for some of us) its normally a run
