Phuket Hash tragedy
This afternoon on the Saturday Hash one of our Thai female members collapsed in the final stage of the run.Despite efforts by first aiders to resuscitate her and prompt transfer to Phuket International Hospital she died.
Her name was Sandy and for the last few months had been working part time doing the afternoon shift in Faulty Towers.
On behalf of Phuket Hash and Faulty Towers I wish to pass on my condolences to Dennis her partner and her Thai family. She was a great lady and will be sadly missed.

Rest In Peace.
On-On to the big Hash in the Sky.
What was her Hash name Paddy , I'm useless with people's real names.

I'm very sorry to hear that. What happend? Was it the weather, not enough hydration? I wonder if she had some sort of heart condition. I guess it sucks all the way around.

Everyone at Melbourne Western Suburbs HHH will have a down down this Tuesday for night Sandy and her spirit and family will be in our thoughts and prayers. From the above messages, seemed like she was a lovely person who has left this world too early. Condolances and all the best to the PHHH running collegues as well.

Thanks for letting us know Paddy. Very, very sad indeed. I hope the hash are rallying round to help Dennis at this very difficult time. Sandy was a great person who I met a few times over the last couple of months or so. Shocking news indeed.
My Condolences to everyone and especially Sandy's family.

I can only echo the same sentiments. When I came over for a week in Feb she was always very friendly and fun to chat with whenever I was at Faultys. A sad loss.

Collection
Yesterday the Hash took up a collection during the circle. The money raised was over 30,000 Baht. This was matched by Hash funds doubling it to over 60,000 Baht.
This money will be forwarded to her family near Bangkok to help them.
