How old is old?
For anyone that remembers, I just saw on the news that "Baby Jessica" just got married.
She's the one that fell into the well in Texas and it was all over CNN for days.

Long ago, when I was in my early thirties, I would wander onto a maternity ward in Birmingham looking for research subjects. WHile scanning the clinical notes for likely candidates I would see the mothers date of birth (older mums are generally more willing to let you experiment on their second or third born) and subconciously compare it to my own. For a long while I would see a date in the seventies and think "No way is she old enough to be having a baby!" then I would do the math and it would turn out they were twenty or so. That made me feel old even then...

I remember being 20, and thinking of people over 30 as middle aged. Now I'm 41 and, well, middle aged is 50+. I have no shame in moving the goal posts but I think when you reach 'old fart' it will be obvious, and the game will be up.

I was just meaning that I imagine you are as old as you feel, but when you are too old ( can't make it to the bathroom to pee etc.) then it will be obvious, but there is no line in the sand between 'old' and 'not old'. I think.

I'd bang her. I wouldn't ask her to perform brain surgery, but she's good enough to take a shot in the mouth.

It's all a case of mind over matter - when you have no mind left then it won't matter.....

Erm, doesn't the fact that they are on a maternity ward mean that they all put out?
