Unfortunate Fall

A STORY WHICH HAS BEEN IN THE UK PRESS for the last couple of days regarding a 27 years old man who whilst visiting a museum in the Midlands had the misfortune to trip over his shoelace and tumble down a flight of stairs, finishing by crashing into a pair of priceless ming dynasty vases, and shattering them into hundreds of tiny pieces, the museum say they wont be charging him for the damage !!!! i should hope not unless his name was roman abramovic (the chelsea fc owner)

Isn't it ironic that such vases should survive for hundreds of years only to be broken because a silly museum placed them in a stupid position.

Perhaps that museum needs to assess the suitability of its staff to continue to work in such a fragile environment. I for one would be looking for an ass to kick and it would not be the poor bastard that tripped over his shoelace.

On a similar subject. Some poor kid at Jamie Oliver's publisher accidentally e-mailed his brand new, un-published, cook book to her 'friend', who promptly passed it on (I have a copy!)

That would have been an ass kicking to remember as well.
