Free? They did a free concert in Hong Kong - it cost every tax payer in HK about 100 HKD whether they went or not. These bands are paid to perform - it normally comes out of municipal funds.

Mind you the 100 HKD is a lot better value for money than the average 1800 HKD for Hong Kong Disneyland.

By the way - WTF has this to do with Phuket/Thailand?

The Stones would have to pay ME to watch them.

A prehistoric band who should have called it a day years ago IMO

Can't remember the last decent song they recorded its that long ago

Been on Copa Cabana beach and seen the Stones live. Not a big fan but saw them in 1990 (?). They played their old songs which was good. Jagger looked rediculous in his skin tight trousers even then.

Are they playing in Soi Eric sometime?

Well I have never seen them live and I am not much of a fan of stadium style bands but lets face it they have made some sensational tracks in thier time.. "Sympathy for the Devil" has to considered a pretty impressive piece of music no matter what yout tastes..

Saw them in 1973, was 69 then!

It was allready a great circus, but enjoyed the show. Las album I loved was the funky Black and Blue.

But I don't like stadium shows, saw them in a human-sized arena. Even Pink Floyd I don't like to see in a stadium. That is why I am happy that i will able to see Gilmour, from Pink floyd in an arena too!

rolling stones

I did just bay the ”Jump Back (The Best Of ’71-’93)”.
Its a remix of some of the best old one and its pretty good.
Also have replaced some of the old one with remaster version like Sticky Fingers,Exile on Main St
and Goats Heads Soup.

But the best one today i think is Stripped from 95.
and include songs like ,Wild Horses,Dead Flowers,
Angie etc.Its a live album from diffrent smal clubs .

And i still think Stones have a great party factor.

Just now they are on tour in US and afther that they will tour in Asia

For info see tourlist
