Toilet strength

Just on this mornings news, there is a report that too many toilets are breaking under the load. Apparently the current Australian standard is for toilet to take a 45kg load, but they are now thinking about changing the standard to 150kg.

Would be abit embarrassing to have the shitter shatter under you.

I was just wondering - does this mean everyone realizes that Aussies are full of sh1t?

Or perhaps you are getting more rotund like your American cousins.

You just have to take a walk around any supermarket or down the road, to see this is very true.

I think the world in general is getting heavier. I can remember back when you rarely ever saw an over weight Thai, now they are everywhere especially the younger ones, such a same really. To such an extent that the main hospitals now even have diabetes educators, that a sign of the times.

I've been on a "mostly", Thai food regiment, since Sept 2005.

Even at home, in the states, I eat Thai food only...at least 5-6 days per week. (mostly ALL the time) I really love Thai food, and generally speaking, don't care for western cuisine. (especially KFC, Mcd's, et...) I even turn down fine Italian dining, in favor of my Thai delicacies.

Now to the point. Since changing my dining "habit's"...I've lost 22lbs. in body weight. (fat bastard, still) But, the food, is good for you, and delicious, as well.

I'm sure that I can still break a "plastic" chair...but I'm much more comfortable, on my US rated toilet, now.

I think thats the whole point, how many Thai families do you see now in Maccas and KFC feeding the garbage to their young kids. And there is nothing finer than to come home from work, and get hit by the smell of Thai fooding cooking in the kitchen.

Also trying to loose some weight, as when I came back to Sydney I gained quiet a few kgs. Only 8 weeks until my dogs are free here, so thats when the excerise starts again.
