Swedish learning payments

Interesting about the thread a few months ago from Jimholio about the Swedish government paying for Swedish people to travel overseas to learn and study. Well I've just come across another case of someone talking about this, and he saying he will get 500GBP per month.

He is a low time Swedish pilot planning to go to China to study the Chinese language and then apply to a Chinese airline.

I've never heard of anyother country offering its citizens an opportunity like this before. Are there anyothers??

In some instances I think its a worthwhile program..

Nothing broadens your mind or experience like travel.. And compared to what they would pay an unemployed person in Sweden with housing and money thats a very small %..

Of course it would have to be a real job skill and real training.. To me bar work is not suitable..

This program is offered troughout whole Europe. the money you will get is based on the country's living costs. IE: You may get a monthly 1000Euro in Japan while you only get 600Euro in Thailand.
