Anyone have a job that allows them to travel ?
This has always been on my mind. Im 31 and make a handsome living, but really am tired of my surroundings.
Does anyone have a job that they can still make money and travell? I am going to try my hand at stocks a little bit in the near future, but that is a gamble at best.
What kind of job could you make money from a computer or a phone line that is legit to fund your travelling and doesnt matter where you are?
If this is in the wrong forum I apologize and please move.

maybe should be in "idle chit chat"
I think you will find quite a few BM's have jobs that involve Travel.
Myself if I could find one that lets me spend half my time in LOS we be a much happier man,but the cold reality is its hard for a non thai to make a living in Thailand (there are some exceptions to this).

Security and Telecommunications have enabled me to see a bit of the world.
Security remains a constant, however, the places you may be required to work are not always the prettiest or safest! Telecoms means having to be up-to-speed at all times in an almost daily changing work environment which can get a bit tiresome some of the time.
TEFL enabled me to visit quite a few countries (More and more countries are now wanting a Degree in teaching as well as the TEFL) unfortunately, it did not provide me with enough of an income to really keep my head above the parapet.
PS It is a good way to loose weight!

As my position as a manager in a hotel, I have been around the world, but not that much as some may think.
I usually stay in a lot in the head-office in Paris, and am send away, when reorganization is necessary in some of our hotels.
Some locations are exotic, like Thailand and Bali, others are much less. I liked Thailand a lot, and would like to return on a holliday.

It is unless you are so stupid to take on a contract that keeps you in the UK and Ireland for 8 months
