Need to come to LOS...to cool down!

London today is hotter (34C) than both Bangkok (31C) and Phuket (31C) (source: BBC Weather). Papers are full of pictures of people's shoes sticking to molten road surfaces, schools closing, trains slowing down and drivers abandoning cars to seek shade...

The boat cabin temp. is 34.1C and computer case is up to 40.3C with no sides on. Fruit is cooking as it hangs in the galley, bananas brown before your eyes and skins split, mandarins are like they've been microwaved.

I look on it as pre-LOS acclimation, getting my system ready for the August tour...
