Sex Pistols anyone?

Sex Pistols reunite for sweaty L.A. club show - Yahoo! News

This should be a fun show.

As long as you concentrate on the music it should be a great night. Johnny Rotten trying to be controversial and rebellious on stage is downright embarassing. Shove a camera on him when he's with posh people and it makes more sense and is funny!

I think it's amazing that the one album they put out still stands the test of time. Those guys had a rough go back in the day and didn't make any money. I don't think they're getting royalties due to rip off management. At least now they can play with some luxury and comforts and the proper appreciation. God Save the Queen.

I didn't know that they had got back together, but good luck to them and I hope they make some money.

They changed the face of popular music in the late 70s and got stuffed by the most manipulative pop 'mogul' ever in McLaren.

I didn't get punk at all at the time, all that bouncing around and spitting at each other, but looking back on it it seems pretty special. I have to say that it all brings a bit of a smile to my face when I listen to the shite that my teenage son calls music. Not the same as when I was a lad....

John Lydon is very intelligent. They were kids when they were the Pistols.

It was actually pretty good music and they could play their instruments! The publicity they generated overshadowed the music..God save the queen should have been a number 1!!!!!!!

feck me that's a bit of a stretch.....I saw them at London School of the arts in 76 with about 30 other people....they took longer between songs than they did playing them.....

BTW if I couldn't teach anyone who had no musical background at all to play guitar, base + drums on the songs in their original set within 2 days I'll be fecked

having said that they were a seminal band in musical history

555555 Sid Vicous was a notoriously shite 'musician'. I never saw them play or took too much notice of them at the time, but the stories about him 'playing' with his back to the crowd or too smashed to realise that the rest of the band had unplugged his bass guitar were pretty funny
