Hi to you all

After 4 trips in total to Thailand in 2002 and 2003, I tought it was to time to find myself a different destination.

So the last 2 weeks of may I did spent in Fortaleza-Brasil, after a nine hour flight with Martin Air from Amsterdam(Schiphol), we arrived in Fortaleza.

Unless like Phuket this is quite a big city, as big as Rotterdam in square meters and 2,3 million inhabitants.

What about my tactiques? I also wanted a change instead of sticking to one girlfriend like I did in Phuket all the time. So this time I had 6 or 7 girls on 14 days, because I did not want to feel lovesick when I left Brasil and was back home in Belgium.

The main advantages of Brasil compared to Thailand:
- lots of different kind of girls in Brasil: blonds, brown, very dark
- big boobs
- a lot more cheaper (girls + booze)
- during weekends you can visit disco's were normal Brasileira's go to, managed to hook up with a "non-freelance" regular girl
- girls are not that attached to you, allthough butterflying will also generate some strange situations.
-Portugese is not that difficult like Thai

The main drawbacks:
- freelancers are more to business like Thai girls
- I prefered Phuket, because all the action is compressed to a certain area which is not the case for a bigger city like Fortaleza.
- allways have to watch your belongings, because of a high rate of criminality in S-America. (so a lot of security at the ground floor of the appartment and high fences)
- lots of beggars and what's a real pitty a lot of children living on the streets who sniff glue.
- if you take a girl back to your appartment you allways need to be carefull, because they might put 'nocca' drops in your drinks, this something like rohypnol and makes you sleep for 48 hours, in the meantime your appartment is totally being robbed, and when you wake up two days later you feel like run-over by a truck. (I'm glad I did not have to experience this.)
- freelance girls almost speak no english
- no bars like in thailand only disco's with freelancers

So if i make my conclusion, I still prefer Thailand, allthough i would certainly like to visit fortaleza again. For those interested in taking a girl back home, I have been told it's a lot more easy (almost no paperwork to bring a Brasileira back to your home country.)
