Motherwell captain dies playing today

Phill O'donnell the captain of Motherwell FC collapsed and died today during his clubs 5-3 victory over Falkirk. He leaves a wife and three young children. Phill was one of those guys who lived for football he may have played for Celtic but even the most die hard Rangers fans (myself included) could not hate him because he was such a nice bloke.

He was 35 and fit...totally unexpected! I couldn't believe it when i heard it on the news, my thoughts are with his family.

Is a very sad thing indeed. I have just heard on the ABC radio here in Aus that he suffered a seizure as he came from the pitch when being substituted, and could not be revived from there.
My thoughts and condolences go out to all of his family and friends for their sad loss
