Why it doesn't pay to complain in restaurants

Some recent news items that have caught my eye about people who have complained in restaurants.....
First:-
"A restaurant owner has been forced to apologise after diners received a bill with an abusive and sexually-explicit message. Ten friends dining at Joe Delucci's Italian restaurant in Lichfield, England found the message "suck my di** f**k face" above the their order for fish cakes, the BBC reported. There was no charge for the sexually explicit item. Diner Clare Watkin told the BBC she thought the message had been written after the group complained about poor service. "I couldn't believe it. The bill read 'fish cakes', which one of us had for a starter, and it was written right above it - absolutely disgusting language," Ms Watkin said. "I think that the way that we've been spoken to is absolutely outrageous." "We actually booked the table for 8 o' clock in the evening, by the time they had taken our order it was quarter to nine and we didn't actually receive our food until quarter past 10."
next:-
"A Brisbane [Australia] restaurant has earned international notoriety after giving a customer a serve she did not expect. After posting a feedback to The Casa Flamenco's website concerning problems encountered during a $261 dinner party, diner Lorraine Pacey was shocked at the rude reply: "Dear Lorraine, Your (sic) are an idiot we don't want your feedback." Both communications have since circulated far and wide - including featuring on a US website, which has had more than 20,000 hits. Ms Pacey, a marketing manager who once worked in restaurant marketing and is with Geebung software company Pronamics, detailed in her email what had gone wrong on February 10, when she dined at the Albion restaurant with eight friends. Shocked by the response, she passed it on to friends. But even she has been surprised by the speed at which the tale spread across the globe. An acquaintance who emailed Casa Flamenco expressing displeasure at the way Ms Pacey had been treated received the following response: "Like we care.""
And, finally:-
"A restaurant owner who fatally stabbed an "aggressive" patron who complained about slow service has been sentenced to seven years in prison. Khanh Vo, 35, grabbed a paring knife from the kitchen of his restaurant in the Melbourne suburb of Abbotsford and stabbed Anh Dung Nguyen, 54, during a fight on April 16, 2006. Vo, of Ivanhoe, pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Mr Nguyen at the Vietnamese restaurant Bon Mua, which Vo ran with his wife. The Victorian Supreme Court was told today that Mr Nguyen arrived at the restaurant with a group of nine men about 11pm. Mr Nguyen complained to Vo's wife about the slow service, the court was told. Justice Kevin Bell told the court that witnesses had said Mr Nguyen had been "abrupt and rude" to Vo's wife. When she told her husband about this exchange, he became upset and a fight erupted between Mr Nguyen's group and Vo's friends, who were also in the restaurant. "In the commotion you went to the kitchen and got a short-bladed paring knife," Justice Bell told the court. "You swung at him (Mr Nguyen), stabbing him three times in the left side of the torso." Mr Nguyen died the next day."

Im rather disappointed that in Joe Delucci's restaurant, that he didn't just say "SHUT UPPA YOUR FACE!"

That would of been more appropriate.

But what would of happened if you went to that Renne and Renato's restaurant?
