Or:
Thai Daisy

1 cardamom pod
2cm/¾in piece fresh ginger, cut into matchsticks
2 fresh kaffir lime leaves
2 tsp sugar syrup (also sold as gomme syrup)
30ml/1fl oz gin

1 tbsp lime juice
25ml/1fl oz Asian pear juice (or use ordinary pear juice)
To serve
crushed ice
1 lemongrass stalk, trimmed
1 fresh kaffir lime leaf

1. Place the cardamom pod into a cocktail shaker and crush with the end of a rolling pin. Bruise the basil leaves by rolling them in your hand. Add these to the cocktail shaker, along with the ginger, and crush (muddle) well with the end of a rolling pin.
2. Add the sugar syrup, gin, lychee liqueur, lime juice and pear juice. Shake hard, then strain into a tumbler filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a stalk of lemongrass and a kaffir lime leaf.

Pablo's Partner:
1 Small Cocktail Glass (barrel type)
Ice Cubes, to fill 1/2 of glass
2 to 3 oz, Chivas Brothers Regal Scotch Whiskey
After adding the ice to glass, slowly pour the scotch over, and swirl gently to chill. Drink quickly (and repeatedly) to avoid diluting, by melted ice.
NOTE: Never put ice in, AFTER pouring the whiskey, as 'bruising of the spirit' may occur!
Enjoy...555555

Any Tall Lady'll Do!
5 Ltr Flagon of Rosso:
a. Unscrew the tacky metal screwtop from the flagon.
b. Put finger through the glass loop conveniently welded to the side of the flagon and chug until empty.
c. Once finished.................."Any tall lady'll do!"
PS Don't trim the lemon grass stalks as it bruises them...........or summink!
PPS Ice is for girls.
