Flight Simulator Screenshots
Just thought these pictures taken from Microsoft Flight Simulator of Phuket might interest you.
The last one was taken when approaching Phuket Town at around 2000 feet. The aircraft was the Extra 300.

I haven’t learned how to land properly yet, at least on a runway.

I am too lazy to read the manual. So I just invent my own flying technique and crash land every time.

Nice screenshots - Look so realistic.
Agree with Nicke.
Do a low pass over Patong if you can and post.
BTW thanks

Phuket / Koh Samui
Hey . . .
I thought I was the only would-be Pilot on this Forum !!!
I have played with FS since the first one was released, probably nearly 20 years ago.
I have become quite adept at taking off from Bangkok Intl. and landing successfully in Phuket (with available Airport up-grades).
I usually prefer to fly the Learjet which is very easy to handle.
My latest investment is a new computer. 3.2Ghz, with 1 Gb of Ram, and a 512Gb Radeon Pro stand-alone Video Card. I feel I was missing out on a hell of a lot of display endhancements with my old one.
I have saved most ILS flights to-and-from most Thailand locations, always ending-up in Phuket.
Cheers
Paul M

You meant 512MB DDR right? Yeah, I've been playing the game for quite some time too, but never figured out how the navigation system work so I just use visual to land. I handle pretty well with turbopop, but not the jets. Do you have the Thailand Addon Scenery?

Flight Simulator
Ancientmariner . . .
No . . . I mean 1 Gb of Ram ! I have brought a Pentium 4, expandable to 1 Gb Ram.
The upgrade was done at purchase, and the system certainly tells me that is what I have got.
Yes, as far as scenery enhancements go, I have upgraded the Phuket Airport scenery, and Bangknk.
Also have installed the Airport Envrionment 6.0 file, which adds many extra features, lighting, and so on to all FS9 Airports.
Cheers

Sorry, I meant your Radeon video card. Most I know like the 9800 comes with 256mb DDR onboard memory.
Sounds like you have added a lot of extra stuff to your game. That souonds great! Ever played another flight sim called Xplane? The graphic quality and details are even better than MSFS but it has less support scenery wise.

I know this is a old thread but here are some pics of my thai plane from bkk to phuket,
Does anyone know if there is a update for phuket map.
I use flight sim x Deluxe.
My pc specs are
intel dual core 2.9 extream, 4gb corsia xms dominator mem, Evga geforce 7950GX2 1gb, Sound blaster Audigy 2 with logitec Z5500 speakers and saitek X52 flight stick.
I will try to do a video of a landin or flying over phuket.
