I T Question

During the last day or so, when I save photos from the internet, they save as ''bitmap'' as opposed to ''jpeg''. This has only occurred (I think) since I viewed some of the photos on a thread on this forum (best BG you've been with) - jeeeeeeeeeesus there are some nice ones

Sorry, back to the question - is there something I need to reset as a default to make photos jpeg.

I'm no computer whizzkid so answers in plain English no more than 2 syllables would be appreciated.

It wont be all images saved as BMP.. Images saved online as Bitmaps (BMP) are displayed as BMP and saved (on your comp) as BMP.. Images saved online as GIF / JPEG / ETC are displayed as the same and saved as whet they are..

Theres no conversion happening, you just happen to have looked at BMP's since then and made the connection..

Thanks lads - there was definitely something wrong, but as LivinLOS said, it was not related to this site. Followed Steve's thread and deleted all the temporary files. Seems to have fixed the problem.
