What would you do?

Hi all, new to the forum.......

I would like to ask the following question....

Would you buy a plot of land and then build your home or...

Buy a home already built?

What would be the advantages and disadvantages of both without pointing out the obvious.

Those of you that have bought land to then build, do you regret it and vice versa.

Kind regards and i look forward to any info.

When you buy an already built house, you know what you get. if you buy a land plot, there are many traps. Water, electricity, phone lines etc and you dont know what will be built next to you. I did some search few years back and they said public road and water utilities will come very soon, now few years later, I see they still lack public things.

Its cheaper to build yourself, just make sure you have road access (a common trap) and public utilities. A already built house with everything is safer.
