Property Auctions.....
Anyone ever been or have someone buy for them from auction?
Has anyone got any web addresses regarding this? Regards

The Thai Government Housing Bank and the other main bank mortgage lenders do hold auctions for houses/land periodically.
Been to 2 auctions with K1 but didnt buy anything - seemed the good stuff was all rigged pre-auction. There are no websites I can tell you about, but the local paper does advertise them. In Phuket the auctions are held every 4 months or so in Phuket City Merlin Hotel.

I know someone who bought 2 proprties here about 6 or so years ago from a bank foreclosure auction.. Steal of a deal..
Like Kev says the really good stuff will be sewn up by backroom deals.

My friend buys them from the banks before they go to auction, so the best stuff never even gets there!!
