Growing old

Bob and Mary are in there seventies and both had been recently diagnosed with alzheimers disease.

The doctor tells them that if they follow some simple guidlines it shouldnt ruin there lives.

The most important thing they should do is write down everything they are supposed to do that way there will be no mistakes.

One night Bob says to Mary Im going to the fridge for a beer do you want anything.
Yes says Mary can you bring me some ice cream sure says Bob, Mary says write it down.

You only want ice cream replies Bob I will remember that as he leaves the room Mary shouts wait I would like some strawberries with the ice cream.

No problem says Bob write it down said Mary he said dont worry I will remember it you want ice cream and strawberries.

As he leaves the room again Mary says wait I want some cream on top of that write it down its ok says Bob you want ice cream strawberries and some cream on top I will remember.

20 minutes later Bob comes back from the kitchen with a plate of sausages bacon and eggs he hands it to Mary , she looks at him and says I told you should have written it down.

Why he asked she replied cos you forgot the bloody toast.
