KL Nightlife
Can anyone give me some advice about the nightlife and where to stay close to it.
I have seen the Rock Hard seems to be the place to be, but are there other bars, clubs and what is the best time to go etc.
What is the nightlife area called so I can do a search, and does nayone have any good nightlife site they can recommend for KL?
Am planning a few nights as a break and want to make the most of it.
I nice hotel with a good sun deck and pool, or a trip to the beach would be nice.
Regards
Drew

The Shangri-La is the perfect hotel to stay at. Terrific pool and deck, spectacular views and rooms, along with top notch service. It is also located right across the street from great bars. Loads of hot hot ladies there from every Asian decent. You will definately not be going home alone!!
KL is a great city to spend a few days in!
Cheers,
Ashley

I always stays at Concorde Hotel, next door to Hard Rock Cafe, very close to Zouk and The Beach Club. I also like to visit a techno club nearby, but they change name all the time. A walk to Bukit Bintang is just 10 minutes or take the monorail and it just few minutes.

Stay at the Shangrila Hotel.
Walk across the road and there you are.
Beach club and Thai Club very popular. Beach Club is a pick up joint. Many tourist there, you wont get lonely. Many prostitutes also.
Hard Rock Hotel is on the left side of the road towards the end once you walk out fr the hotel.
Inside the Shangrila Hotel on the 1st floor, there is a pub called The Pub. Trust me the cheapest happy ht drinks in town buy 1 free 1, not watered down beers like you get in clubs and discos.

If you wish to get out of KL to enjoy nightlife, get a cab from the hotel, ask the cab driver to take you to Bangsar Baru where all the pubs are. Expats area.
Another one would be Sri Hartmas, also a lot of pubs there.
Enjoy!! Cheers.

Kl nightlife is great! Ive been there twice and had a shitload of fun. I've only been to the beach club and the thai bar across the street but that's basically all you need. In the BC they play live music early at night and around 1 the band makes place for the dj and then the club goes totally for broke. Many many working girls in there if you are looking for some. Many Philipinos, some ugly some extremely hot.

you guys should also check out "luna bar"
it's on the top floor of a hotel, it's called pan global hotel.
the place is in a small street between shangri-la hotel and menara kl (kl tower).
the joint is very stylish with swimming pool in the middle of bar
i think it's on the 33rd floor. make sure you get there before 9.30 cause after they charge 50 rm cover charge (incl. one drink)
it's little bit like vertigo bar in bkk but not that high ;-) no FL there
also very good is qbar at westin hotel. many pretty chicks. also FL mostly from philipinnes. stylish place with latino band. well, they play latino sound but are asians, hehe.
wednesday is ladies night so many chicas there...
another quite new nightspot is "asian heritage row".
it's a small road besides sheraton hotel. monorail also stopps there.
there are about 10-15 bars and restaurants. good place is "bar savanh" right at the corner to jalan sultan ismail.
however, this street is only busy on weekends and has no p4p ladies like bangsar and sri hatamas.
the best german bar is "house frankfurt" in bangsar. many different german beers and the boss, peter, is always there and entertains the crowd.not many girls there though.
just across from house frankfurt is telawi street bistro (tsb). it's one of the best places here to pick up regular girls! many small groups of ladies there who look for rich white guy ;-)
similar places in bangsar are "bar flames" and "la bodega" but tsb better for pick up
for hotel you might wanna check out the hilton at kl sentral. bit far from center but very stylish and also has a good bar called "zeta bar". it's roughly between bangsar and downtown
anyway, if you wanna p4p of course beach club and hard rock cafe are the places to go. on weekdays there is basically no other places to have fun...
have fun in kl!

I also tried the Cabana Hotel and found it had a broken link. The pics from the Thai Bistro looks like fun though. I'm thinking of staying at the Crowne Plaza as it had really good reviews from tripadvisor.com.

Crowne Plaza is a very big hotel, very classy and very nice rooms.
The hotel has a sky bridge connected to KLCC.
From the hotel, it's a very short cab ride to Beach Club, Thai Club...etc.
Have fun.
