In KL right now

I am applying for a new NON-B visa, as I only got single entry (3 months) last time.

This time everything went smooth and I can pick up my passport tomorrow with 1 year NON-B multiple entry, as my work permit now says "work period: 1 year" which I changed in May after my last trip.

As stated elsewhere, the fee's went up on July 2:

1 Year NON-B cost 550 RM (500)
NON-B Single cost 220 RM (200)
Tourist visa cost 110 RM / entry.

Taxis so far has been good and honest on meter. 5.80 RM from Concorde to Thai embassy. KL Sentral now have a Taxi desk counter where you pay for your fare in advance, the price depends on where you want to go. So KL Sentral to Concorde cost 9 RM with a standard taxi meter. (+1 RM if you have luggage) This is a good thing, no chance to get ripped off.
Otherwise, you always have the option to use monorail from KL Sentral to Concorde (Bukit Nanas) for just 2.20 RM.

Well, I am back in Patong tomorrow... Just a quick trip to get my visa in order.
