My last trip to KL was July as well, but it was open earlier in the year and busy too. I just wondered, as they always had rugby/motor sport on and it's handy from the Concorde. I'll see for myself on Saturday

Thanks for the link. I know it and was in there for a beer on my last trip. It looks like a re-visit is in order for the sport over the next couple of weeks then (when I've got any time off work that is).

Cheers and have a good time. Hope the weather is better when you arrive.
It's been pouring most evenings.

I guess due to the high price and not many people interested in sports bars nowadays. So many clubs in that area.
Pity, the place was really nicely decorated, even tvs in the toilet.

Ruums on the top floor of that building seems to be very popular among the young crowd. Have been there a couple of times to listen to different music or DJs, the kind of music they never play in Phuket. Quite busy every day of the week.

Yeah Ruums is a popular spot, have been there a few times. Really huge inside. Plenty of pretty girls and their liquor promotions are cheap.
Before it was Ruums, it was a sleazy joint with people taking ecstasy pills and all...yuky!!!

Sometimes i do go to the Spa, Spa D Palace.
Very nice insinde if you're looking to relax. If you want happy ending, you will be taken to another hall. Dont worry.
Massage there is ok, lounge is big, the hot tubs are nice.
Have not been there in a long long time and since you mentioned that it was closed the last time you went...erm.

Yeah, I went to the ex. Ruums clubs too, had two other different names before. Was not so busy but still good techno/trance music, one time ppl thought it was getting raided and ppl run for the exit. I dont do drugs so I was not worried.
