Anyone have any experience in Hong Kong?

I'm going on 20th -23rd Oct.

Currently have no idea of the night life there.... Prices to pay, where to go, isit BG/fish tank/FL style, etc...

No idea of the hotel to stay in. Doen't necessarily need to be budget since it's company trip.

Things to do... No Disney pls....

there is thread somewhere (search engine not work?) but go to Wan Chai and look for Fenwicks and Neptune 2. Loads of FL both thai and filipino.

if you want a bit more upmarket go to Lang Kwai Fong. Trendy bars etc

Whats wrong with Disneyland? lol. I had a great daytrip out there.

try looking for hong kong and a thousand and one threads come up with hong kong as a stop over etc...

if i wanna listen to kids screaming out their lungs... i'll just open a day care centre myself...

OK CY. HK is not reallyt difdferent from Singapoops, except its easier to get a taxi

Where to stay, if the companies' paying = well hotel prices go up and down as often as a *****'s knickers but stay at a chain hotel in Wanchai, Admiralty or Central - Rennaissance, Shangri-La, JW Marriott, Conrad, etc.

Hobbsy has covered the naughties very well - avoid go-gos where they drag you in like the plague - run by triad and a big rip off. Discos - Neptune, Laguna, Fenwick Mew Makakita, etc., etc, all will get you laid head up to LKF and there are places like Bar feorge.

Going rate for a FL LT is 1000-1500 HKD. There are brothels off Nathan Road on Kowloon side, but I am not familair with the scene over there.

Remember the weekend youy afre visitting is a lng weekend in HK due to Cheung Yung Festival - the Hill Climbing Festival/
