Beach Club
Nautilus said they had a crackdown on Philippine girls in KL, have anyone been to KL and Beach Club recently and how was BC? Empty of girls or not?
This happens from time to time but usually recover quite fast.
Escort services, run by a major mafia group, is normally unharmed, as they pay protection money to police. They also supply all kind of nationalities to the city. There are many names in this business but what I have heard most of the girls is from the one and only supplier. And its big business.

Was there about 4 weeks ago, all was same same to me! Plenty to be had...
After having said that, have been there a number of times over the years and some nights are just dead, for what ever reason.

Yep, they certainly are, mainly Friday and Saturday nights with combined police/immigration raids. Was talking to a friend of my girl on Sunday night and she'd just been released after 14 days inside. It appears that they hit outside the club on the street, not actually in it and just round any girls up. They all get 14 days plus those with dodgy paperwork get deported at the end of it. Any single girl is classed as a prostitute by the police and into the van. No argument, no excuses and no court appearance. You can visit a girl but they won't release even when offered a hefty bribe.
The Beach Club now doesn't let those girls that do risk it in until after 11pm so it's normally quiet until around 10.30.
A lot of girls tried to move to Hard Rock but they won't let unaccompanied girls in most of the time, although this does appear to vary with who's on the door.
I know a few girls who just won't risk the weekends any more (and who can blame them) but will still work Sunday-Thursday nights so BC is reasonably busy then (after 11pm of course).
How long this will carry on for is not known, but it must be hitting the BC in the till.

Feel for them though.

There's just been a feature on BBC WORLD about RELA...the volunteer armed vigilante force who seek out illegal and undocumented defenceless foreigners in Malaysia. Supposedly there are 1/2million volunteers in this force and the government plans to double it over the next few years.
Rela Corps is a civil volunteer corps formed by the Malaysian government. Their main duty is to check the traveling documents and immigration permits of foreigners in Malaysian cities, including tourists, visitors and migrants to reduce the increasing rate of illegal immigrants in Malaysia. RELA has the authority to deal with situations like policemen, such as raiding suspected streets or places such as factories, restaurants and even hotels. They are also fully authorized to conduct the interrogation and even detaining people who forgot to bring their traveling documents, like passports and/or working permits.
Given only basic training, this civil corps is sometimes equipped with firearms, making many cases of power abuse by this civil corps. Many cases in Malaysia the RELA volunteers, abused their power, which created trauma for foreign visitors in Malaysia, have made RELA Corps to be listed in the Human Rights Watch.

Yes, there was an article about them in the New Straits Times a few weeks back calling on the government to curb their powers. It doesn't seem to be this lot at the BC though. That's either police or combined police/immigration force.
From what I understand, prision conditions are pretty dire. Minimum food and hygine, shortage of beds leaves many sleeping on the floor, relying on visitors for extra grub etc. Not something you'd want to do twice, or even once now I think about it.

RELA are low life scums!!! They are power mad people who abuse their so called powers. They are the ones who should be jailed.
Lots of activities from the Government lately, many believe is due to the elections coming.

Just an update. The BC was hit again last night. A friend watched it from the roof of a hotel where they'd gone to watch the New Year fireworks. Usual MO, a sweep of all the girls on the street and into the trucks for the 14 day complementary stay at the KL Hilton.
I think all the girls we know from there got away this time, but I suppose the inevitable will happen sooner or later.
Happy New Year
