KL Info needed
I am thinking about spending 2 days in KL Feb 22nd and 23rd. The Mandarin Oriental looks very good but I'm not sure about the location. Any good bars close by (walking distance)? I just want to chill out for a day or two and maybe find a female companion I know the prices are much higher than LOS but for a short trip I will survive.
Any other recommendations ( bars, restaurants, hotels, pfp) would be greatly appreciated.

Mandarin Oriental is adjacent to KLCC and Petronas Twin Towers.
The bars are at Lorong P Ramlee, walking distance from the hotel, if you dont mind probably 15 minutes walk.
Lots of bars and clubs along that road including the famous Beach Club.

I'd be interested to hear more about KL nightlife.
I've stayed at the Hilton/Le Meridian (Sentral) before. Seemed awful quiet over there... although a good live band downstairs.

Im sure the locals will put me right but, the nightlife IS beach club. Lots of FL but not many over a 4-5.
Expensive and not LOS, most certainly not.

Really, next time you should go out of KL. Too many raids in KL, the smaller pubs outside of KL have really pretty Filipinos. I go there once a week. 555.
Most hotels in KL are GF, including the Shangrila. Just dont do anything stupid at the lobby and get kicked out. 555.
Hilton/Le Meridian are biz hotels i think, dont stay there unless you really have to. Go to KL.
Besides Beach CLub, there are othr clubs like Aloha, same row as Beach Club, not so many FLs there.
Some renovations going on, i think new clubs should be opening soon.
March 8th is the KL Elections. Try to avoid KL then, no alcohol ban , but i am worried of protest !!!

The PJ Hilton is nice to stay, very GF and down stairs in the Uncle Chillie bar is a reasonable cover band and plenty of FL's. Last time was there was mostly phillo, but previous were mostly Thai.
