Accomodation at the Airport

If you have to stay for a couple of hours on the airport you have two choices. Either you visit the city. There is the Klia Express, a train that connects the airport and the city. It starts directly at the airport and brings you to Kl center where all busses and subways are starting.
Or if you are tired you go to the Pan Pacific hotel . There is a covered walkway from the airport. You need about 5 minutes. And they rent rooms for a couple of hours. The rooms are excellent. I usually go there when I come from europe. A couple of hours sleep before the connecting flight to phuket. So you arrive in Phuket not tired and ready for the action.

better than singapore too much time between connections.
just wish direct flights where available between aus and phuket

I am going from Sydney to Phuket in July with Singapore Airlines. I only have a 45 minute gap between the arrival of the plane from Sydney and the departure (Silk Air) to Phuket. Coming home I have about a 3 hour wait in Singapore. How long have your lay-overs been?
