Who is goin to full moon on the 13th...
Hey all,
this is my first trip to Thai and will be partying on the beach for the fm party on the 13th... We are a big (8) group of friends with newbies and old travellers all coming from South Africa. The reason for my post is to see if any of the people on the forum will be goin at the same time that we are? It would be nice to hook up with people there that I have "spoken" to or are more familiar with!! You know... the kind of people that has been there a couple of times, parties hard, knows the ropes and could possibly give a helping hand in obtaining..... and such, if you know what i mean? Also get to know youall better on the beach and if you are in to diving.. the hotspots for that etc. Drop me a pm or reply!! Looking forward to hearing from you... Josaai

First time I went to one of these.....maybe 10 years ago...there were about 300 people there........now I hear it's more like 5000.......I won't be back ina hurry....the thought of that many backpackers in any place at once.with the juices flowing through their brains..............OMG

Inside tip.
Go to Ko pagnan in a week when there is not a Full Moon party. The island is then full with girls traveling alone or in pairs. The atmosphere is relaxt, some what of a small village feeling. I was there in 2004 during FM and loved it, but last year when i was there not during FM i loved it even more. No BG's there so if your looking for that its not the place to go.

1st Full Moon Trip
My first trip to Thailand last October 05 I went to the FMP. After the first night on the beach, I spent the rest of my time in the Motel other than going out to eat and shoping. If it's what you like, I guess it's okay. Just a little too noisy for me. But there are lots of single women visiting. I actually rode down on the Ferry with one from Samui.
I plan on making another visit to Koh Phanagan but it probably want be during a FBP.
